Norcent Technology, Inc., a marketer of high-quality, value oriented home entertainment products, will debut four new plasma
televisions at the 2006 International CES. The units include: 42" PM-4201 ED monitor; 42" PM-4236HD monitor; 42" PT-4241HD television;
and 50" PT-5041HD television. These 16:9 (widescreen) models further extend Norcent's dedication to performance, design, and value as
well as its commitment to offering quality, affordable plasma televisions for dynamic home entertainment.
"Consumers have shown they are excited over the plasma viewing experience," stated Jennifer Long, Norcent CEO. "These four models,
while offering many similar features, also have many distinct features, ensuring there is a model that makes a perfect match for virtually
any home entertainment setup. As with all of our products, these plasmas deliver consumers the best value possible."
TV reception for the 42" PT-4241HD and 50" PT-5041HD plasma televisions is provided via built-in ATSC and NTSC tuners. The former's
1024 x 768 resolution and the latter's 1366 x 768 resolution deliver a true high-definition experience through integrated digital tuners.
A Picture-in-Picture (PIP) feature in both models keeps viewers in tune to two programs at once. PT-4241HD has Component and DVI video
inputs, while the PT-5041HD comes with Component, Composite, and S-Video. An HDMI input on the 50" model provides uncompressed, crystal-clear
digital video and audio via a single cable.
The 42" PM-4236HD plasma monitor is capable of displaying 480i, 480p, 720p, and 1080i signals. Its 1024 x 768 panel resolution delivers
bright, crisp detail and fluid life-like motion to even the most discriminating viewer. Component and DVI video inputs deliver sharp color
reproduction. A high brightness level of 1,100 Cd/m² and a incredible 10,000:1 contrast ratio ensure amazing image quality.
The PM 4201 42" ED plasma monitor vibrantly displays 480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i signals. The monitor features high brightness (1000Cd/m²),
with a contrast ratio of (3000:1) and 852 x 480 resolution to deliver the viewer an exciting home entertainment experience. To support the
panel's high quality picture, component and DVI video are included to deliver sharp color reproduction and precise color processing.
Common features shared by the four units include: a trilingual on-screen menu, convenient sleep timer, favorite channel presets and
digital comb filter for accurate color processing.
