Xias High Design
Slim Digital Cameras
Norcent
announces their new Xias (pronounced Kí-as) camera line featuring a
unique, sleek and ergonomic high-end design that will satisfy even the
most discriminating consumer. The Norcent Xias DCS-760 seven-megapixel
digital camera has a stunning smoked charcoal metallic finish and
captures image resolutions up to an amazing 3072 X 2304. In addition
to a 3X optical and 4X digital zoom the DCS-760 features a large
scratch-resistant, 2.5” LTPS TFT color LCD which makes reviewing shots
or sharing them with others easy and enjoyable. The camera’s Lithium
Ion, rechargeable battery eliminates the need for purchasing AA
batteries. Additional storage is provided through an SD/MMC flash
media card slot. The DCS-760 will be available this April for an ESP
of $199. with an 8 MP DCS-860 and 10 MP DCS-1060 will follow in Q3
2007.
25 Series Compact
Digital Cameras
The 25 Series
camera’s body is an elegant silver color with a brushed metal finish
and features a large, 2.5” scratch-resistant acrylic panel LCD
display. The DCC-1025 offers exceptional image clarity and will
capture high-resolution images up to 3648 X 2736 in a wide variety of
light settings. The DCC-725 will capture high-resolution images up to
2832 X 2124. A 3X optical zoom and 4X digital zoom are included for
crisp, clear distance photos. The DCC-725 and DCC-1025 have 16MB and
32MB of internal flash memory respectively and are compatible with
external flash storage media (SD/MMC card slot). The DCC-1025 will be
available in April 2007 for an ESP of $179. and the DCC-725 will be
available in June 2007 for an ESP of $129.
50 Series Slim
Digital Cameras
The new 50
Series digital cameras will offer a large scratch-resistant, 3” color
LCD screen, 3X optical/4X digital zoom, Face Detection and Anti-Shake
Reduction features that make taking and sharing crisp, detailed shots
simple. The DCS-1050 10-megapixel camera and DCS-850 eight megapixel
camera will feature awe-inspiring ultra-high resolution images. To
maximize the number of high resolution photos that can be stored on a
single card, the new 50 series will utilize the latest ultra high
capacity SDHC memory cards. The new 50 series will also feature an
all metal body casing in multiple colors including black, silver, and
pink when they arrive during the 3rd quarter of 2007.
Common Features
A six-mode white
balance function (daylight, cloudy, tungsten, fluorescent H and L, and
custom) automatically determines the color temperature of the light
and adjusts accordingly. Also included in all models is a movie mode
that captures video clips. Other common benefits that all Norcent
digital cameras have include: a five-mode built-in flash;
numerous still photo modes; multiple focus settings;
multi-setting self-timer;
up to 30-second voice memo capability for both still images and video
clips; and, assorted photo special effects.
