Norcent, a marketer of high-quality home
entertainment and digital products, is expanding its feature-rich
camera line with an additional 10.1 Megapixel camera, the DCC-1025. It
will be available for purchase in February with an estimated street
price of $179.
The new camera’s body is an elegant champagne colored, brushed metal
finish and features a large, 2.5” scratch-resistant acrylic panel LCD
display. The DCC-1025 offers exceptional image clarity and will
capture high-resolution images up to 3648 X 2736 in a wide variety of
light settings. A 3X optical zoom and 4X digital zoom are included for
crisp, clear distance photos.
“While combining superior performance with a sleek, durable, techno
look, our new DCC-1025 camera also provides exceptional consumer
value,” stated Dennis
Robinson, Norcent CFO. “It also offers a
wide variety of user features that enhance the camera’s overall
performance. Now, budget minded consumers will not have to compromise
on photographs or enlargement quality when using the new camera.”
Included are many dramatic photo effects settings such as black and
white, sepia tones, negative art and more for unique and professional
looking photos. To maintain the color accuracy and clarity needed for
consistently high quality photography, the new camera offers auto,
daylight, cloudy, tungsten and fluorescent white balance settings.
Users can select from 14 still photo modes and multiple focus settings
for every occasion. Built-in flash with auto, forced, no flash, slow
sync and red-eye reduction modes are included to make every picture
perfect regardless of lighting.
Movie mode captures MPEG-4 video clips with resolutions of up to 640 X
480 and will play back in either NTSC or PAL formats with up to 30
seconds of WAV audio that can be included with the video clips. Other
features include a double self-timer and support for multiple
languages.
The DCC-1025 has 32MB of internal flash memory and is compatible with
external flash storage media (SD/MMC card slot). The camera comes
complete with user manual, camera bag, software CD, USB and AV cables
for connection to a computer or TV.
