Norcent Promotes Greg Slanaker to Vice President of Sales for the Western Region

 Extensive and Successful Industry and Company Experience Leads to Promotion

San Dimas, CA, April 4, 2006 — Norcent, a marketer of high-quality, affordably priced home entertainment products, has promoted Greg Slanaker to Vice President of Sales for the Western Region, effective immediately. An industry veteran of nearly 30 years, Slanaker has been with the company for over three years, most recently serving as the Director of Sales for the Western Region.

“Greg has been a valuable asset to Norcent,” stated Jennifer Long, Norcent CEO. “He has admirably performed a variety of roles in our sales department. His thorough understanding of the consumer electronics industry, vast product knowledge, and keen interest in helping our customers maximize their opportunities with us make him the perfect choice for this new position.”

Greg has been with Norcent since 2003. In his most recent position with the company, he was in charge of all Western Region Sales in addition to the MARTA buying group. During his tenure,  he has been instrumental in an overall increase in the company’s customer base. Among his achievements are increasing business with the NATM buying group and Staples.com.

Slanaker’s career includes sales and management positions working at or representing some of the industry’s most recognizable names, as well as running his own successful Rep firm.

Prior to coming to Norcent, he was the National Sales Manager for Taiwan-based America Action, a manufacturer of a variety of LCD audio/video and multimedia products. He also served as National Accounts Manager for Sanyo Fisher Company, and was a Senior Vice President for Byron-Season Associates, a consumer electronics Rep firm. He also owned his own Rep firm, representing companies such as Samsung Electronics, Fox Electronics, Avanti Products, and Harada Antennas.
